When You Wish Upon a Star...

Well, I have always wanted to go to this place ever since I first saw it on a post card... It is the most famous of King Ludwig II's castles because it is the one Disney's castle is based on... Bavaria is an amazingly beautiful country...

The Real Oktoberfest

Here are some cool pictures of Oktoberfest...

Happy 30th to me in Oktoberfest!

Ok, so I´m currently in Munich tossing back a few beers in Oktoberfest since it's my birthday and all (may I just say I got TOTALLY wasted... not even funny, had to pray to the porcelain god a few times). This is insane! Unfortunately I can't figure out these german computers so I haven't been able to upload more pictures. I will post them once I'm back in Spain.

I was thinking of heading to Amsterdam with a few buddies from school, but I don't know if I'll be able to afford it. But I will try to make it to Castle Neuschwanstein (See link below for what that castle is). I should be heading out to France today or tomorrow depending on how much I get to do today. Anyways, keep checking for pictures!

Biodynamic winery of San Luciano, Tuscany

This is one of the coolest places I've been to so far and they make great organic wine...

Me and St. Francis

Me and St. Francis got real close on this trip as you can see... :)

Asisi, where St. Francis was from

These are all in the town of Asisi. On of the most amazing towns I have ever seen...

Barça Futbol - Out of chronological order

This is a "futbol" match of FC Barcelona in the second largest stadium in the world. They won BTY...

Adieu Barça, Ciao Italia

Well, I think it's about time for me to get a little mystical, which for those who know me well should be no surprise...

I must admit that I did not have a great time in Barcelona. I was actually in a mild depressive state for most of my stay there. The funny thing is that I don't even know why. The people were a little off, the city wasn't what I was expecting and things weren't going all that great. I guess I just wanted to go home...

Yesterday though I arrived in Italy, and the funny thing is that as I was flying in an overwhelming feeling of giddyness overcame me. I don't know why, but I haven't been able to wipe a smile off my face since. It was a strange feeling of coming home that I have been experiencing for the past 24 hours. I don't see myself being able to stay away from this place for very long; I think at this point fate and destiny have taken over... not much I can do. :D

I don't have any pictures yet but believe me they are sure to come. Things are fairly more expensive here than in Barcelona (computer use is 4x more!) so I don't know how often I will make it here, but I will eventually.

Well, that's it for now. I need to go polish up my italian a bit... :)

Arrivederchi,

Rafa
