But I'm Still Looking For... A Good Shower...
So this is the shower I have to use for a whole month... I wouldn't necessarily call it a shower though. It's more of an over-sized bucket. Let me tell you, in my experience in Italy good showers are hard to come by. But on the plus side, they ALWAYS have a biddee here.

Some times you realize...
Some times you realize after searching for something or looking for something that is not your external environment that you need to change, but your internal one. Once you change that, everything else fits into place and you stop running away, you stop looking for things...

Ahh Venice!
During the break from the tour, I got a chance to escape to Venice for a couple of days. Man, was it nice (and expensive!). I haven't been to that many cities in Italy, but I would have to say that Venice is my favorite so far... So nice... with the water and the gondolas... so... romantic... ahhh... :)
I definitely have to go there again with more time, more money and a sugarmama to really get the most of it.
My Friend the Artist
I forgot to write about the time I spent with my buddy from the Camino de Santiago. He lives in a town south of Barcelona named Reus and he's a really cool artist. Here he is and also some of his paintings. Please, if you like any of his paintings, let me know because they are for sale. I'm trying to help him out and give him some publicity. Oh by the way, his name is Albert Sedano and his website is the following...

Back in Sansepolcro
Well, after a year since my spectacular time in the little known town of Sansepolcro I return by popular demand with a bang! Not a day went by that I was sober, ate gelato, pizza, and other awesome Italian food, partied with cool people from school as well as the locals, and just had another awesome time in general. The best part of it was, I came out of it with an MBA! (and a whole bunch of student loans). Yay!
Here are a couple of pictures. One is the view from my room (nice!) and the other is of one of the gourmet meals we had in the tour. Awesome stuff... Rohaise, you rock. ;)
Back Online
Ok, so I'm back after being excommunicated (sort of) for a couple of weeks. I'm at my host family's house and it seems like it's going to be ok. The have free wireless internet so I think I'll survive now... haha.
I get my own room and my own desk so things are looking up... The best part is I don't have to drag my suitcase anywhere for another month... Sooo nice... :)
Well, on with the pictures...

In The Eternal City
So I finally made it to Rome after an ordeal with all the missed and cancelled flights, and the "extra" costs of traveling on a budget... What a pain in the ass...
Italy is... different... :) but I can certainly tell you that I'm starting to get that "wtf am I doing here?" feeling right about now but I know it's because this is all so new. I just hope it goes away soon or I may find myself leaving rather quicker than I thought.
I guess I've realized I'm really not looking for adventure. I'm looking for a home and not sure yet if this is really it. I guess it will depend on the people I meet... but for the meantime I'm here and I'm at least going to suffer throught a little before I throw in the towel...
I'll keep all my fans posted... :)

De Vuelta en Mi Tierra
Well, so I finally arrived in the land that saw my birth... I'm always happy to see my family and eat the wonderful food that makes me so fat :D But it's also hard because it's such a hard life down here. So hot, so poor, such harsh conditions... But anyways, there's always rum...
I think it's a nice transition to going on to another life, sort of like recharging my batteries before starting the life of an immigrant once more, but this time a little tougher. But I guess the harder you fight for something, the sweeter the reward once you get it.
But it's ok... in the end, it's the journey that matters...

Life is an Adventure
Well, here I am posting again. I was struck by a flash of inspiration today and decided to write it down.
I've been starting to see my life more and more as an adventure, and it seems there is no end in sight. One long, never-ending adventure...
For now, the chapter I'm on is the following... I've relapsed into a life of cubicles and computer screens; Tupperware lunches and sore butts from sitting all day. For a while I thought that after all my real "adventures" throughout Europe I would continue living exciting moments, never to revisit this dull, monotonous experience. Yet here I found myself again... But now I realize that it's OK. Just another chapter of my story. There will be more adventures to come... many many more.
